My name is J. Chandler Lutz III. I live in Reading, Pa and I will be a 2029 graduate of Exeter Township High School.
I love all sports but my true passion is golf. My family has a long history of loving this sport and I believe it is the greatest game ever played.

Family
My great-great grandfather was one of the owners of the Reading Country Club which later led to hiring Byron Nelson as the head pro. My great grand father Buddy Lutz was lucky enough to take lessons from him at a very young age. Thanks to coach Byron, my great grandfather became a very accomplished amateur golfer and then became a professional golfer for a short time.
My great grandfather had three boys and nicknamed them Wedge, Chip (former Sr Amateur golfer of the year for many years) and Putter (my Pop).

Growing up, I played many sports but I have grown to focus on golf and tennis. As early as I could walk, my Dad always took me to hit golf balls. I am naturally right handed but my Dad tells me that I always wanted to swing the club left handed. I have grown to love swinging left handed and it even helps me with my tennis backhand!

I look forward to competing three more years at Exeter, and then play golf in college at the highest level possible.
Home course: Ledgerock Golf Club

I am very lucky to call LedgeRock Golf club in Mohnton, PA, my home course My favorite hole at LedgeRock is #15. It’s a long par 4 with a challenging uphill approach shot. I love the learning center at LedgeRock. There are four heated garage bays , simulator, a chipping green and a putting green which allows me to spend many hours there working on all aspects of my game.
LedgeRock’s youth program has brought them national attention. I have had so much fun learning and competing. There isn’t another program like it!
LedgeRock has helped me get ready for the high school season and my first US Kids Philly Tour.
Coaching

I am even luckier to call Andy Miller my coach at LedgeRock. Andy is a world class golfer and coach, and has pushed me to be a better player and competitor.
